The episode starts with at the dining table Adit asking Soumya to give him salt. Everyone is shocked. Adit understands his mistake and says he means Mangal. Kusum confronts him over his behaviour. Adit manages the situation and apologises to everyone.
Gayatri asks Karthik to understand that Jia doesn’t care for him. She advises him to not hurt himself for Jia. She feeds food to him. Gayatri tells Karthik that she will select a great partner for him. Sanjana asks Gayatri how Karthik forgets Jia easily. Karthik declares he will only marry Jia and leaves.
On video call, Mangal tells Lakshmi about Adit’s distress. Sanjana asks Karthik to know from Jia if anyone is forcing her to reject him. She asks him to find the reason. Karthik asks how can he find it. She tells him a plan.
The next day, Soumya calls Adit to tell him that Goa tickets are booked and now they will spend time together on the weekend. Kusum receives the call and gets shocked. Soumya asks him to talk. Kusum says Adit is getting ready and cuts the call. Kusum scolds Mangal for being unaware of what’s happening around her. Adit comes there and comments on Mangal. Kusum stops Adit from going to the office and kids from going to school. Kusum asks everyone to get ready. Adit asks Kusum about her plans but she doesn’t answer him.
Lakshmi comes to Kusum and gives her the ghee she bought. Kusum asks Lakshmi to help Mangal to get ready. On the other hand, Gayatri asks the worker to call Karthik. Jia calls Gayatri and tells her something. Gayatri gets shocked and runs out in shock calling Karthik’s name.
Lakshmi asks Mangal where they are going. Mangal says she doesn’t know. Kusum comes there and asks Mangal to get ready in her wedding saree. Mangal agrees. Mangal sees her wedding saree and recalls the past moment hoe Kusum gifted that saree to her. Lakshmi helps Mangal to get ready.
Karthik threatens Jia that he will commit suicide if she doesn’t agree to marry him. Jia refuses to marry him. Karthik asks how can she change so much and decides to end his life.
