Early Career
Jennifer started her career at the age of 12 as a child actor in the film ‘Akele Hum Akele Tum and then went on to appear in another movies like ‘Raja Ko Rani Se Pyaar Ho Gaya’ in 1997 and ‘Kuch Na Kaho’ in 2003.
In the same year, Jennifer made a distance from silver screen and moved on to Televison as she played the role of Piya in kid’s show, ‘Shaka Laka Boom Boom’. After appearing in this show did some more roles in shows like Kkusum, Koi Dil Mein Hai, Karthika.
Getting Noticed
After that came ‘Kasauti Zindagi Ki’ the mega hit of Star Plus those days. This show went on to become her home as she was about to open her wings to fly properly. She played the role of Sneha Bajaj in the show and created an impact with her acting that was hard to ignore in an otherwise fairly experienced cast.
Jennifer has always been very expressive in emotional scenes and even at comedy. That’s one big reason why she resonated with the audience since her start.

In 2008 and 2009, she contested in Star One’s ‘Zara Nach Ke Dikha S01 and ‘Comedy Circus 3’. In this same period Jennifer also hosted shows like, ‘Dekh India Dekh’ and ‘Laughter Ke Phatke.’ Later, she also hosted ‘Zara Nach Ke Dikha S02’.

In 2009,Jennifer replaced Sukirti Kandpal in the superhit show, ‘Dill Mill Gayye’ airing on Star One as Dr. Riddhima Gupta. Her pairing with former ‘Kasauti Zindagi Ki’ co-star Karan Singh Grover became a rage among fans.

After the end of the show Jennifer’s next outing was Star Plus’s show ‘SaraswatiChandra’ initially produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The show was initially based on Govardhanram Tripathi’s novel of the same name. The show is still remembered for the grace with which Jennifer played her character ‘Kumud Desai’.
Creating a cult- Beyhadh
In 2016, after a two year gap Jennifer Winget returned with the physcological thriller drama, ‘Beyhadh’ where she played the role of Maya Mehrotra who can go to any extent to keep her lover just to herself. With her portrayal Jennifer made the show a cult and won the love of fans and critical acclaim alike. From viewers to her fellow TV actors she forced everyone to recognise her immense talent through her portrayal of Maya. It’s still considered a benchmark.
Bepannaah
She returned with Colors’ ‘Bepannaah’ opposite Harshad Chopda and again won the audiences with her painting of Zoya Siddiqui as the naive, broken, cheated widow. Her portrayal and her pairing with Harshad became super hit and people still crave for them to come back even after it has been quite a well that the show has gone off air.

Jennifer has won numerous awards in her long career. She also has a web film on her name streaming on Netflix called ‘Phir Se.’
